On Valentine's Day we toast to the great loves and great guests who have dined at Rogano - both of which can be said of Elizabeth Taylor.
Taylor first met Richard Burton on the set of Cleopatra, sparking one of the greatest (if most turbulent) love stories of modern times.
The creamy, almond flavours in this cocktail bring to mind the softer, sweeter side of their romance from those early days, with a sprinkling of chilli marking a lifetime of passion… the ideal tipple for your own great love.
Although as glamorous as this Hollywood pair were, let's raise a glass to the drink being the only thing served 'on the rocks' in your own relationship.
Ingredients
1 oz. Amaretto
1 oz Almond milk
Sprinkling of dry chilli flakes, to taste
Preparation
Mix ingredients together and pour over ice
Add red chilli pepper to garnish
