Many countries lay claim to inventing vodka and everyone says that their drink is the best. I suggest extensive research to find your own favourite, and I would particularly recommend trying Wyborowa and Luksusowa (both from Poland), as well as Grey Goose and Ciroc (both from France). Personally, though, I always come back to the Russians, and my favourite (based on taste and value for money) is Russian Standard which is widely available at around £17 for a 70cl bottle.
