This year the BBC Good Food Show Scotland returns to the SECC with an unrivalled line-up of chefs and celebs cooking live at the super-theatre.

The show's schedule includes master-classes from the nation's best-loved soggy bottom critics Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood, while MasterChef presenter and chef John Torode will be representing the Aussies.

From Scotland, The Kitchen's Tom Kitchin will be showing visitors how to whip up something special, and host of BBC's Saturday Kitchen James Martin is guaranteed to bring his passion for British produce to the SECC over the course of the weekend.

As well as the star-studded line up of celebrity chefs, the Producers' Village will celebrate local food heroes in the form of regional artisans and prize-winning companies (think cheese makers, master butchers and bee keepers).

A new Eat Well pavilion is set to showcase an array of health-conscious treats as well as providing nutritional advice from experts and also sell a selection of wholefoods, superfoods and free-from products.

Those looking to ditch the diet for the weekend should head to the Bakes & Cakes Village, where techniques and demonstrations are offered as well as the chance to pick up every kind of baking gadget imaginable.

What's more, this year's exhibitor list looks stronger than ever with delicacies including Scottish gin, smoked salmon, gourmet chocolates and Hebridian sea salt up for grabs from various local and national brands.

The BBC Good Food Show runs 17 - 19 October 2014 at Glasgow's SECC. Buy tickets for the event here.
