Ondine, run by chef Roy Brett, won the accolade at the British Hospitality Awards in London. The awards, organised by the AA, celebrate the highest standard of food and service throughout the country.
The honour comes as the restaurant celebrates four years in business and follows on from other titles, including Scottish Seafood Restaurant of the Year and Scottish Chef of the Year for Brett.

Brett, who previously worked at Rick Stein's Seafood Restaurant in Cornwall, said: " This is a special time to be working in the food and drink sector in Scotland so to receive this national award now, is a real honour.
"It belongs to our hard working team, our amazing suppliers who brave all weathers to bring us such special produce and to our wonderful customers who ensure Ondine has a special, social atmosphere like no other restaurant in Scotland.
"Ondine specialises in seafood and only uses produce from sustainable sources.
