On the rocks: Mogwai launches new whisky
Glasgow's The Good Spirit Company has today launched an exclusive new bottling - post-rock band Mogwai's first foray into the world of whisky.
In collaboration with The Creative Whisky Company, just 324 individually numbered bottles were available to buy from the Bath Street shop, as customers queued round the block in anticipation of the store opening at 10am.
This afternoon, members of the band signed the bottles of RockAct81W - which were taken from a single cask of Glenallachie 9-year-old - ahead of their gig at Celtic Connections tonight with RM Hubbart.
Priced at £55 each, all 324 bottles sold out in a number of hours.
