Eleven food lovers are set to enjoy a ‘piece’ of the action when they compete for the title of British Sandwich Designer of the Year 2013 later this month.
The designer foodies will take part in the first national heat of the competition at West Lothian College in Livingston on Monday, March 4 at 1pm.
The culinary awards, which are organised by the British Sandwich Association, aim to recognise the major contribution made by those involved, often behind the scenes, in creating new recipes.
