Nairn congratulates new chefs

Nine apprentice chefs are ready to put their skills to the test in the employment market, after graduating from a training academy run by Scotland’s Hilton hotels.

The trainees, who have spent the past year learning their trade, attended a ceremony the Hilton Dunblane Hydro, hosted by Scottish chef Nick Nairn, who runs the Kailyard restaurant at the hotel.

"The single greatest challenge we face as chefs is attracting, recruiting and retaining new talent into the industry," he said.
