A Scottish baking sisterhood has risen to the challenge of starting a new business by cooking up a £300,000 turnover in just twelve months.
The Reith sisters launched their homespun eatery in October 2011
Gillian (33), Nichola (31) and Linsey (27) Reith opened their dream cafe, Three Sisters Bake, in Quarriers Village, Inverclyde, with an initial investment of just £22,000 in October 2011.
The sisters have now more than doubled their predicted turnover for the cafe, which offers a variety of delicacies including breakfast treats, quiches, homemade soups, doorstop sandwiches and mouth-watering cakes, in their first year.
