Roy Brett, owner of Ondine in Edinburgh, claims the move will have a serious impact on Scottish fishermen and consumers.

The Marine Conservation Society announced it had removed mackerel from the latest version of its list on Tuesday and advised consumers that the oily fish, which is rich in omega 3, should only be eaten occasionally.
