Shares on offer at Scotland's First Community Farm

An organic farm in Edinburgh is set to become Scotland’s first community owned farm.

Whitmuir Community Farm, located south of Edinburgh, near West Linton, has invited anyone over the age of 5 to buy a share in its future. Shares can be from £50 to £20,000.

This pioneering model of land ownership will enable the new community benefit company to make the farm a living, learning space.
