Glasgow protest as shareholders approve HBOS takeover

Unions staged a protest in Glasgow today as Lloyds TSB shareholders approved the proposed takeover of ailing rival HBOS.

Lloyds and Edinburgh-based HBOS employees are worried over thousands of possible job cuts if the merger goes ahead.
