A suspected gunman threatened staff and stole cash in a daylight robbery at a Glasgow city centre bookies today.
Police said a man entered a Ladbrokes shop on Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow, and demanded cash.
Strathclyde Police said: "He threatened the staff with what appeared to be a firearm and demanded money from them.
"He then ran out of the shop with a three-figure sum of cash.
"The firearm was not discharged at any time and the two staff members, although uninjured, were left extremely shocked."
The suspect was described as white, aged between 27 and 32, with brown hair. He was wearing a dark baseball cap and a grey and black Northface jacket.
The two male workers, aged 27 and 28, were threatened at about 1.25pm.
Detective Constable Julie Mullen urged any witnesses to contact the city centre CID.
Sauchiehall Street is one of the busiest shopping areas in the city.
