Having read the article about Heinz Infant Milks (News, July 14), I thought it appropriate to correct the information concerning alpha-lactalbumin since this ingredient is not produced by any form of "genetically modified" dairy Friesian cow for our Nurture Infant Milks. In fact, regular cow's milk naturally contains alpha-lactalbumin and this provides the source of this ingredient through a special concentration process which is then included as part of the ingredients for Heinz Nurture Infant Milks.
I hope this is helpful and removes any concerns readers may have had on this issue.
