The Crown Office confirmed last night that it would not press charges against 35-year-old Alan Pollock, dubbed the "Big Man", for manhandling student Sam Main off a ScotRail Edinburgh to Perth train last December after the 19-year-old launched a foul-mouthed tirade at the conductor, who had accused him of travelling without a valid ticket.
