'I can't even afford to buy my daughter a bed'

GHAZALA HAKEEM, 32 Lives with daughter Isha, 8, Govanhill Glasgow When Isha was one year old, I left my husband. I wanted a place of my own so I could look after my daughter. I was offered a flat by Govanhill Housing Association. It was daunting because there is the Asian side and the white side of the area and I was on the white side and I thought, how are they going to react to me? But Isha helped me as I had a common point with other women.
