In pictures: dressing Dynasty style to raise money for renal unit

Guests celebrated the 25th anniversary of a city charity with eighties power dressing for the Dynasty Ball.

The event was in aid of Darlinda's Charity  for Renal Research, which raises funds for the Western Infirmary's Renal Unit.

An auction, a raffle and silent auctions helped swell the coffers, with two return ticketd to New York, gifted by United Airlines, being among the top items.

Darlinda's Charity was set up in 1987 by psychic and astrologist Rita Madhok, after she suffered from renal failure.
