£2000 found in public waste bin

A PILE of bank notes totalling more than £2000 has been found in a public waste bin by passers-by in Stonehaven, Aberdeenshire.

Police Scotland are keen to trace the owners of the money and have appealed for anyone with information to contact officers by calling the non-emergency 101 number or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
