The case for peat-free compost

The best way to get your plants off to a good start is with the right seed sowing compost.

Traditionally, peat has been widely used in commercial composts even though it's long been recognised that extracting it not only destroys biodiversity but also releases huge quantities of carbon, and therefore CO2, into the atmosphere.
