Terrain: hilly sections; riverside path, mainly minor roads
This fairly strenuous road trip starts innocently with a relaxing pedal out of Rattray alongside the River Ericht. The riverbank is a delight at any time of year (unless there are squalls), reflected in its Gaelic name, which means beauteous.
