How female MSPs have shaped parliament’s priorities

Women members of the Scottish Parliament have had a significant impact, by boosting issues such as domestic violence, early education and childcare, and anti-social behaviour up the political agenda, according to a report to be launched next week.

The work was carried out to assess the achievements and disappointments of devolution from the point of view of women, following the success of the 50/50 campaign, which worked for 10 years to try to achieve equal representation at Holyrood.
