Faye Dinsmore, 24, one of Ireland’s top models and a Classics student at Trinity College, Dublin, on her career, her favourite smoothie and keeping warm.

Where are you from?

County Donegal, Ireland.

When did you get into modelling and why?

To fund my student lifestyle when I started college!

Who's your style icon?

My mother.

What do your family and friends think about you modelling?

My parents think it's fantastic as it means I can take care of myself. To my friends, I don't think they care, it's just like any other job.

Have you got a special routine on the day of a photoshoots?

Get up early with enough time to shower, dry my hair, drink hot water with lemon and make a smoothie to take with me!

What was your most nerve-racking or embarrassing modelling experience?

I had to wear a coat once that was made from dog hair and that was pretty gross. My first catwalk shows were the most nerve wrecking.

What is the most treasured item in your wardrobe?

Shoes and coats, all the things that keep me warm! Absolutely hate being cold!

If you could only choose one beauty product what would it be?

Moisturiser.

What’s your favourite place in Donegal?

Rossnowlagh Beach.

Favourite TV programme, music or book?

Come Dine With Me, The Stone Roses, The Perks of Being a Wallflower.

What do you like to eat for breakfast?

My Green smoothie! It's apple, pear, banana, spinach, celery, lettuce, cucumber, lemon juice and ginger. It tastes a lot better than it looks!

What’s your dream holiday destination?

Rome.

How long can you see yourself modelling for?

I'm 24, which is getting on a bit in the fashion world so probably not too much longer!
