Moschino’s Rossella Jardini used Scottish fabric as a reference point for her autum/winter 2013 collection at Milan Fashion Week.

To the sounds of Brit Pop favourites Blur, Oasis and the Verve, models took to the catwalk in everything tartan – tartan jackets, suits, dresses with ruffled collars, bags and Glengarry caps. The show even ended with a bagpipe procession.

There were also riding helmets and embossed 'M' detailing - adding an aristocratic flavour.

Jardini told Vogue: "I love everything that is British, I have from the beginning. I always do anytime."
