This quality steak restaurant serves up set-price Sunday lunch: £25 pp for a joint of beef, duck fat roasties, all the trimmings, dessert and a bottle of wine. Tanya L loved that "the roast Is carved at the table", the Castle view and the giant Yorkshire puds.

Whether it be pork, beef, chicken or vegetarian nut roast, there's something for everyone. Lynne M says "the plates are full to bursting" so you're getting value for money while you're at it.

The Antiquary

77 St Stephen St, Stockbridge, Edinburgh

The chef from neighbouring Purslane serves up excellent pub grub and a Sunday Roast to rival the nearby restaurants. It's Julie G's favourite place to come and avoid the post-work rush - with board games like Monopoly to play after.

Hotel Du Vin

5 Devonshire Gardens, Glasgow

Sunday brunch features Roast du Vin - rib of beef, or Normandy chicken with trimmings and proper Yorkshires. Bex M had to resist the lure of the French market table to make sure she had room for the "delicious roast".

As well as an extensive charcuterie menu and wide range of beers, Lou R loves coming here for their "delish Sunday Roasts".

The Butchershop Bar & Grill

Their Sunday roast menu is £13.95 but Joe H recommends going for the 35-day dry-aged roast for two, served with all the trimmings for £35 for two people. He raves: "You will love it."

The Fountain

Alex J decided on this comfortable but new pub to bring her family for a Sunday lunch. She couldn't decide between the beef shin pie and fish and chips, but opted for the Sunday Roast at £15. "The beef and lamb were wonderfully cooked and heaped on our plates in generous portions."

The Grill on the Corner

21-25 Bothwell Street, Glasgow

Austen M has sampled the three roasts available on the Sunday menu - pork, chicken and beef - and says they're all "tasty, big portions and perfect for sharing".

Blythe R reckons this place "served up one of the best Sunday Roasts I've had in Edinburgh". You can get a Sunday Roast with all the trimmings at £8.95 "available until they're all eaten out". And a Sunday Roast roll for £3.95 for "the lightweights".

Cail Bruich West

725 Great Western Road, Glasgow

Roast ribeye of beef, Yorkshire pudding, duck fat potatoes, salt baked carrot and jus roti takes pride of place on the Sunday lunch menu. Darryl R says: "This place is a must-visit, if not for the Crachan, then for the staff."
