To celebrate the extended opening hours of Glasgow's 'Style Mile', five of Scotland's most prominent fashion bloggers will battle it out in a 'Late Night Style' challenge.

Every night this week each of the five bloggers will have just one hour - between 5-6pm - to create three stylish spring looks to go on display in the windows of Buchanan Galleries on Buchanan Street.

One of the bloggers, Herald Scotland's own Claire Stuart of Bee Waits, can't wait to get started: "I absolutely love Glasgow style, from hidden gems to the high street, so I'm really excited about creating a window display for the city. But one hour is not long at all so the pressure will certainly be on! We'll probably have shoes in our hair and hats on our feet by the end of it so it'll be as fun to watch as it will be to take part in! I can't wait to see what the others girls come up with!"

Linda McCormick, marketing manager at Buchanan Galleries, said: "Spring has really kicked off here in the centre with our stores at the forefront of the latest trends. The blogger late night style challenge is a great way of tapping into some of Glasgow's top style gurus and giving our shoppers some inspiration whilst they are taking advantage of our extended hours."

To celebrate the extra shopping hours, the Late Night shopping team is also giving away £50 of shopping vouchers every night to passers by who tweet a picture of their unique Glasgow style to @peoplemakeGLA. The public can get involved and watch the window transformations between 5-6pm every week night starting on Monday 10 March.

The other participating bloggers are Laura Pearson, Kirsty McLaren, Lis Ferla and Ann Russell.
