Now in its third year, Scotland Re:Designed has revealed the date of its annual showcase as November 20th, to be held at Glasgow's SWG3 venue.

Scotland Re:Designed supports and nurtures Scottish fashion design talent by providing a platform from which Scottish-born or Scotland-based fashion designers and textile companies can establish and build relationships with industry insiders.

And further to the announcement, the name first of the industry panellists has been released in the form of Sarah Curran MBE, luxury director of multi brand digital retailer, Shop Direct.

Founder and director of Scotland Re:Designed, Chris Hunt said: "As a podium for fashion and textile designers to extend their reach in the industry and afford them as many opportunities as is possible, SR:D takes the platform to as many new locations and audiences as possible, as we've done in previous years.

"However, with 2014 being such a monumental year for Glasgow our home city felt like the only choice to invite and bring everyone in to; why go anywhere else when there's so much to shout about on our own turf?"

12 Scottish designers will be selected by an expert panel to showcase their work in a stunning runway presentation at SWG3 on Thursday 20th November 2014.  Leading up to the event there will also be a yet to be announced programme of workshops for both industry and the public to participate in.

The panel will comprise of industry experts from the retail, manufacturing, buying, media and fashion consultancies sectors. Selected to share their knowledge and expertise with the Scotland Re:Designed exhibitors and helping SR:D to support designers in creating and sustaining successful businesses.
