Glasgow’s South Side will be taken over by 10 breweries exhibiting their drinks alongside some of the best local acoustic acts and delicious street food vendors. 2 Dunfermline Comic Con

Comic book artists and writers from across the globe will descend on “The Glen” for what is fast becoming one of the highlights of the UK comic convention calendar. Featuring special panel events, signings, interactive attractions, displays, comic drawing classes and a cosplay competition, it’s a great day out for all the family.

3 Edinburgh Lumen

The capital is dazzling with this stunning, immersive visual and sound display that will brighten up the dark winter nights. Creating an aura of calm, three installations will transform St Andrew Square, Assembly Rooms Lane and The Mound Precinct into zen-like portals of tranquillity from 5pm until 10.30pm every evening.

4 The Bowie Experience

Travel on this unforgettable journey of sound and vision through David Bowie’s golden years, packed with all his greatest hits. The Bowie Experience is a spectacular concert celebrating the music of one of the world’s greatest pop icons. This one is for fans of the singing competition. For the first time, the audience will judge and choose their winner at the end of the night. Digital host, Becca Dudley, will be on the road with the contestants and presenting the show. 10 Facsimilization
The Lighthouse, Glasgow, until March 25

The reworking of a mural by Alasdair Gray commissioned for a private home in Glasgow and completed in 1965, but since unseen by the general public, the project was conceived by Roger Farnham, an engineer, photographer and printmaker who has known Gray for 30 years and who had known the artist was keen to modify the original work.

Artist Lin Chau, who worked with Gray on the Hillhead Subway mural project, worked closely with them in translating photographs of the original work into the new version.
