AN award-winning Skye restaurant is to host a pop-up at Glasgow's famous former Fish Market.

Brothers Calum and Niall Munro, who are the sons of former Runrig frontman Donnie Munro, will bring their Michelin-recommended restaurant Scorrybreac to the Briggait on July 20 and 21.

Diners can expect a banquet style menu of fresh seafood dishes sourced from the island paired with locally selected drinks and cocktails.

Calum and Niall launched the original Scorrybreac Restaurant in 2013 from a pop-up in the family home and are now based on a scenic spot overlooking Portree Bay.

The restaurant entered the Michelin Guide in 2015 and is listed in the both the Good Food Guide and Scotland the Best and remains Michelin Recommended.

Chef Calum Munro said: "ʻThe thrill of finding new and seasonal produce on Skye is the main ʻdriverʼ for an event like this.

"It gives me the opportunity to experiment with a variety of wild and wonderful ingredients that you donʼt come upon every day.

"Being able to bring a sense of this to Glasgowʼs historic former Fish Market at the Briggait is a really exciting prospect."
