Following the success of the first collaboration for Autumn Winter 2017, Modern Rarity welcomes back Royal College of Art trained, Eudon Choi, as the guest designer for Spring Summer 2018, with an exclusive capsule collection of dresses at John Lewis.

For the new collection, Eudon selected his favourite dresses from the last seven years and worked closely with the Modern Rarity design team to reinterpret the styles whilst maintaining the elegant and refined design that is his signature.

He commented “for these dresses I focused on the details of the cut and fabrication and I hope these new silhouettes will bring a fresh sophistication to Modern Rarity.”

All seven dresses in the capsule collection are made from luxurious fabrics and range from £140 - £300 available in sizes 8 - 18.

Lorraine Majdi, personal stylist at John Lewis Edinburgh adds “we love working with Eudon, he shares our passion and dedication for quality cut and the fabrication. Eudon’s effortless dresses really compliment SS18 Modern Rarity, absolutely encapsulating the brand’s ethos of ‘fewer, better pieces’.”

Born in Korea, Eudon Choi initially trained as a menswear designer in Seoul where he acquired an in-depth knowledge of tailoring techniques and a great eye for detail. He then moved to London, where he graduated from the Royal College of Art's MA in womenswear in 2006.

He aims to create garments that adapt to an individual’s personality and marry into their wardrobe, offering something unique, understated and intellectual.
