We are now officially into Autumn and back to the volatile British weather. London Fashion Week's SS15 kicks off Friday 12 - Tuesday 16 and then there's London Fashion Weekend with the ensuing trends descending for all the fashionistas out there.
Here are my top ten beauty and fashion releases for this coming month:
Push make-up
Push Makeup is a new Irish cosmetic brand which launched in August. Offering a range of products for the lips, eyes and face, with prices starting from £13, key products include Lip Gloss Quad, with four shades to give a richly pigmented 3D effect; HD Foundation, which is a tailored buildable foundation with plumping effects; and BrowsBeWow, an eyebrow gel which is paraben-free and makes brows look fuller and defined.
Austin Reed partners with Walking with the Wounded (WWTW)
Here's one for the guys. Austin Reed has launched an exclusive lining for Austin Reed's bespoke suits in support of WWTW. The navy lining with a red woven Walking With The Wounded logo was designed to raise awareness and support for British servicemen, particularly due to the centenary of the First World War this year. British serviceman David Wiseman, who was wounded with shrapnel while serving in the armed forces, is the face of the project. The lining is available in-store in the Austin Reed bespoke suiting department, with a £40 donation being made to WWTW for every lining sold.
My Burberry fragrance
Burberry launches My Burberry this week, its new timeless fragrance for women. Created by Burberry Chief Creative and Chief Executive Officer Christopher Bailey, My Burberry takes its name from the affectionate way in which people refer to their Burberry trench coats. It also marks the first time the longstanding Burberry models have appeared together in a campaign - Mario Testino has shot British icons Kate Moss and Cara Delevingne wearing the Burberry Heritage trench coats. Prices range from 50ml for £65 and 90ml for £90. Available from burberry.com
Wow mask
I love a good facemask and this really does sound fabulous. WOW mask is a brand new Bio-peptide aqua gel mask that contains innovative natural ingredients to restore the skin's tone, elasticity and hydration to reduce the appearance of fine wrinkles. It releases the essence of nature's most potent skin-loving plants at exactly the right speed for your skin to get the maximum benefit. There are five masks provided in each box and each mask can be used for 20-40 minutes. Simply wash and dry your face, take the mask out of its silver sleeve, remove the protective plastic sheets and put it on. Retailing for £99.99

Tom Davies x Bora Aksu sunglasses
Autumn may be upon us but it doesn't mean putting the shades away. British bespoke eyewear designer Tom Davies has teamed up with London-based Turkish designer Bora Aksu to create a spring/summer 2015 sunglasses collection, launching at the Bora Aksu catwalk show at London Fashion Week. The limited edition line features ten designs, fusing influences from Bora Aksu's spring/summer 2015 collection and Tom Davies' innovative designs.
Vetiver Essence Eau de Parfum
Ferrari Fragrances launches new Parfum Vetiver Essence Eau de Parfum next month. The new fragrance comprises top notes of petitgrain, grapefruit and red pepper berries, with a heart of vetiver highlighted by Italian citrus and cardamom, wrapped in orris and dark notes of coffee bean. This composition is rounded by undertones of hazelwood and tonka bean with lingering base notes of patchouli and cedarwood. It retails for £79 (100ml).
Kiehls' Hyrdo-plumping re-texturising serum concentrate
Skincare brand Kiehl's has announced the launch of hydro-plumping re-texturizing serum concentrate, inspired by new dermatology hydration procedures. The innovative formula is clinically demonstrated to help correct the appearance and signs of age-related dehydration by reaching the deepest surface layers of dehydrated skin to restore vital moisture; leaving skin fresh, plump and youthful. The product is formulated with a potent complex of plant-based gylcerin, a natural moisture agent, and shiso leaf extract. It retails for £40.
Vaseline Intensive Care new line
This month sees the launch of the latest range from Vaseline Intensive Care, aiming to keep the skin healed for three weeks. Micro-droplets of Vaseline petroleum jelly help the formula absorb into the skin faster and build a barrier within the skin to help seal in moisture and heal dry skin. The line comprises of the fragrance-free Vaseline Intensive Care Advanced Repair which is clinically proven to heal dry skin within five days; Vaseline Intensive Care Essential Healing which keeps the skin healed for three weeks; Vaseline Intensive Care Aloe Soothe which helps calm and heal dry skin; and Vaseline Intensive Care Cocoa Radiant which leaves the skin glowing. The lotions are available as 200ml (£3.29) and 400ml (£5.39).
Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
heraldscotland.com is tackling this problem by allowing only subscribers to comment.
We are doing this to improve the experience for our loyal readers and we believe it will reduce the ability of trolls and troublemakers, who occasionally find their way onto our site, to abuse our journalists and readers. We also hope it will help the comments section fulfil its promise as a part of Scotland's conversation with itself.
We are lucky at The Herald. We are read by an informed, educated readership who can add their knowledge and insights to our stories.
That is invaluable.
We are making the subscriber-only change to support our valued readers, who tell us they don't want the site cluttered up with irrelevant comments, untruths and abuse.
In the past, the journalist’s job was to collect and distribute information to the audience. Technology means that readers can shape a discussion. We look forward to hearing from you on heraldscotland.com
