A last chance to catch this Edinburgh International Festival exhibition of anatomical drawings made by Leonardo in the winter of 1510-11. Little known until the twentieth century yet anticipating the detail and accuracy found in modern medical imaging, the drawings are contrasted with CT and MRI scans, computer simulations and 3D film of the body to explore the modern relevance of Leonardo's ground-breaking research. Annual lifestyle show promising three days of activities, shows and demonstrations aimed at over 50s. An Afternoon with Sir Roger Moore

With a showbiz career dating back to the 1940s, the eighty-six year-old actor, raconteur, and charity ambassador is bound to have plenty to talk about for this 3pm Q-and-A in Glasgow. Having published autobiography My Word is My Bond in 2009, and a second memoir called Bond On Bond last year, it's pretty safe to assume he'll be spending a fair portion of the night discussing 12 safari-suited years spent playing Ian Fleming's famous spy. MoRunning

Organised in support of men's health initiative Movember, this charity fun run is returning to Glasgow Green for a third year, with a new event in Edinburgh's Holyrood Park also taking place for the first time. Each race has the option of a 5K or 10K route, with registration costing £16-£22, which covers entry, chipped timing, and snacks and refreshments on the day. An exclusive evening of live entertainment, music and art inspired by the National Museum's look at the life of Mary Queen of Scots, now coming to the end of a lengthy and lauded run. St Andrews Food & Drink Festival

An informal series of food and drink happenings celebrating local produce around the Fife town in the run up to St Andrews Day, with events and promotions ranging from special bar and restaurants menus to makers workshops, performances, whisky tasting and ceilidh dancing. Over the next few days there are two beer festivals - the daily Central Bar-based Eden Beer Festival, and Saturday's Cambolicious, which has craft beers, locally sourced food, and live music. Aberdeen's first and only men's roller derby team are holding an open day on Saturday to introduce the fast-growing, action packed sport to potential fans and participants in the North East. First devised in the US in the mid 1930s, roller derby has been undergoing a huge revival in recent years as an all-female amateur sport, but increasing numbers of men are now also taking it up. Botanics Late

Enjoy one of the capital's cultural treasures in a slightly different context, with the Botanic Garden's John Hope Gateway opening late for the first event of its kind. Essentially an evening of live music, film, and activities, Botanics Late is inspired by new exhibition Sea Change, which explores the impact of climate change. Along with a chance to get a first look at the exhibition itself, there will be food and drink, live poetry, craft sessions, and guests including comedian Robin Ince, singer-songwriter Jo Mango, contemporary guitarist Mick Slaven, and traditional music duo Maggie and Brian.

Get a fun and informative insight into the work done by NHS Grampian scientists behind the closed doors of their laboratories with a family friendly day of demonstrations, experiments and workshops.
