5 Illumination: Harbour Festival of Light

Irvine Harbour will be lit up by a spectacular fireworks display today as Scotland launches its newest light show.
Celebrating St Andrew’s Day and the Year of Innovation, Architecture and Design, the art and light showcase includes a fireworks display and the premiere of a water-themed sculpture trail by international light artists Aether & Hemera.
The four-day festival also features aerial acrobatic performances and a community lantern parade.

6 Frank Turner and the Sleeping Souls

Moving away from his hardcore roots, Frank Turner will showcase his unique brand of folk punk in the Scottish capital on Saturday.
