Lord Penrose to head blood inquiry

A CHAIRMAN has been appointed to lead a public inquiry into why people were infected with Hepatitis C and HIV through contaminated NHS blood products.

Lord Penrose will chair the inquiry, which was announced by the Scottish Government last year.
