I write features, reviews, and comment on a range of subjects, though my particular interest areas are popular culture and television. I write a column about TV in the Arts magazine of The Herald every Saturday and I often write about my big passion: Doctor Who. I’ve also been an editor, overseeing The Herald’s features and Saturday magazine.
In the next few days, all of this will be taken out of the house – Blair Castle, in Ayrshire – auctioned off in Edinburgh and then split up for the first time in centuries. It's a 900-year-old story, and it's all for sale.
