Scottish gigs for Seidel tour
Australian jazz singer-pianist Janet Seidel plays two concerts in Scotland this weekend. Seidel, who regularly achieves high placings in international polls, is currently on a UK tour with her trio, featuring her bassist brother David and guitarist Chuck Morgan.
She appears at Moffat Jazz Club on Friday and in a double bill with drummer Ollie Howell's London-based quintet at Lyth Arts Centre, Wick, on Saturday.

Triple bill for birthday bash
EDINBURGH'S staunch purveyor of determinedly adventurous music, Click Clack Club, celebrates its 50th promotion by moving to a Sunday and presenting a typically eclectic triple bill.
Bassist Dave Conway's funk and jazz group Mad Banners, folk and improvised music quartet the Devil's Dick 4 and the string ensemble meets jazz combo of saxophonist Steve Kettley, above, appear at Henry's Cellar Bar on September 21.
The music begins at 7:30pm.
