Career High:

Playing the Barrowland. I was supporting Jim Jefferies. It was 3,000 people all stood up so it was like a proper gig. To be on that stage was phenomenal.

Career Low: Probably T in the Park a couple of years ago. They decided to put it in a circus tent which normally held 4,500 people and there were 15 people in it spread out over this tent. That was tough.

Who makes you laugh?: Tom Stade is one of the funniest men I've seen. I think the best in the world is Doug Stanhope.

Favourite Music: Any mid-nineties indie Britpop.

Last Book Read: The A to Z of History's Drinkers. It's a huge compendium of drinking stories from famous people. I would love to be in a future edition. That's an ambition.

Favourite Film: Jaws. The perfect film.

Best personality trait: Is it too easy to say humour?

Worst personality trait: My lack of self esteem and insecurities.

Ideal dinner party guests: Dave Grohl from the Foo Fighters, Steve McQueen, Marilyn Monroe, pictured, and John F Kennedy.
