The Dr Who Symphonic Spectacular is set to take place at the SSE Hydro on  May 29 as a part of the show's UK tour.

The show will take place May 29, 2015, at 3pm and then later at 7.30pm. Tickets go on sale Friday August 1st at 9am. 

The musical celebration of the iconic TV series features composer Murray Gold's music alongside specially edited videos sequences of the Doctor in action on the big screen.

The evening also features a variety of live monsters from the series, including the Daleks and Cybermen to add to the atmosphere.

The show first premiered in Melbourne in 2012 and has evolved to include the latest in the TV series ever since. This new version of the show will contain music from both the 50th anniversary episode and Matt Smith's final episode as the Doctor.

The tour also takes in SSE Arena Wembley, London on May 23, Motorpoint Arena, Cardiff on May 25, The NIA, Birmingham on May 26, First Direct Arena, Leeds on May 27 and Metro Radio Arena, Newcastle on May 28 before closing in Glasgow on May 29.
