OIL and gas logistics firm ASCO has bought a further 50% stake in Scrabster Port Services to take full control of the business.
Aberdeen-based ASCO initially purchased 50% in 2009 and has now paid an undisclosed sum to Port Services Group for the remaining stake.
About 20 staff will move over as part of the deal.
ASCO believes the site will become a key logistics hub as the west of Shetland oil fields start to come into production over the next few years.
