Shares in online retailer ASOS rose 12% as the company reported strong sales figures for the second quarter of 2012.
Analysts expressed surprise at the results, which showed UK sales rising 8% to £48 million.
In the three months to the end of June its international business grew sales 49% to £89m, helped by a strong performance in the US, where sales were up 83% from £7m to £12.95m.
