Auto industry entrepreneur Alan Revie has clocked up a decade of growth in his National Tyre Services buy-out from loss-making German owners – and is still benefiting from tax losses.
The Scottish holding company of the NTS chain, Axle Group Holdings, saw operating profits slashed from £2.4 million to £320,000 last year as turnover rose 8% to £175m but costs jumped £4m to £59m, according to accounts just lodged at Companies House.
