MAGAZINE publishing group Future has said its transformation programme is largely complete after non-core disposals and cost savings reduced its headcount by 400 to 577 people.

Losses before one-off items rose by around one third to £10.3 million in the year to September 30 with revenue falling from £82.6m to £66m. The total pre-tax loss came in at £35.4m.

However, Future said that over the last three months the group saw encouraging growth in higher margin e-commerce activities.
