HSBC has outlined plans to open another branch in Scotland, creating 14 new jobs.

It will be spending £1.2 million on the site in Dumfries and hopes to have the doors open in the summer.

The banking giant's chief executive for Scotland John Rendall said: "We're investing heavily in our infrastructure to provide the service standards we know are vital to retaining and attracting customers."
