MIKE Ashley will continue to receive no pay or bonus from his role as executive deputy chairman at the Sports Direct empire he founded 30 years ago.
The Newcastle United owner, who is in talks to buy a stake in Rangers, takes no fees and that will continue according to the Sports Direct annual report.
However, Mr Ashley is seeking approval for a bonus share scheme that could give him eight million free shares if certain targets are hit between now and 2015. Wages for executives have been frozen since 2002.
