A friend is headhunted for a job in New York and goes for an interview with their human resources department to assess his and his family's needs when re-locating from Scotland.

In the course of the meeting he is asked about what kind of schools he might want to send his children to. He has no kids, he tells them. In fact he is in a gay civil partnership.
