Our ovine friends have many attributes, but speed isn't usually top of the list. This could soon change, however, with news that sheep in Dumfriesshire have been undertaking their own Olympic training in preparation for an unprecedented sporting challenge. What is believed to be Scotland's first-ever town-centre sheep-racing competition will be held in Moffat's high street today.
