BUS travel may oil the wheels of the UK economy, but we tend to take it for granted.

A new report from the industry lobby group, Greener Journeys, represents an attempt to convince us that travelling by bus is just the ticket. It coincides with the announcement of a new scheme that will offer Britain's million unemployed young people discounted travel to access work, training or education.
