THE Diary loved Dame Tessa Jowell's slip of the tongue on the Today programme earlier this week when talking about the Olympics' opening ceremony.
She said: "I'm pretty happy with the way people across our country are getting involved in these Games. Friday night's opening ceremony was emblematic of that. What Jimmy Boyle did was capture the soul of our nation and I think that's why people loved it so much."
