COMEDIAN Phil Walker performed at a 40th birthday party recently.
He arrived at the house and was told to wait outside until he was announced.
Making his entrance, he found a mike all set up, with the audience consisting of the man and his wife, mother and daughter. In the background, the TV was murmuring to itself. Phil dutifully got on with the gig, until halfway through, unable to contain herself any longer, the mother exclaimed: "Look, is this going to take long? Sex and the City is on in 20 minutes."
