David Stevenson was visiting the Lanarkshire town where he tried out a branch of the coffee chain Costa. Says David: "Contemplating one of the coffee purveyor's posters on the wall which claimed that their 'Coffee is made with amore', the wee wumman at the next table, clearly puzzled, jabbed her hapless man in the ribs and demanded, 'John, made with mair whit?'"
