While working as a member of air cabin crew, the flight to Ibiza was the most dreaded over a 10-year period because of the appalling behaviour of, more often than not, hedonistic, immature teenagers (Letters, July 10).

We would be verbally abused and several times had to remove young people because of the condition they were in. Most air travellers in my experience are civilised and cause no problems while enjoying their beverage of choice. Night flights to popular destinations with alcohol-fuelled young people are another matter. Revenue is made on flights which benefit crew through commission but most is made from flights with middle-income families who are likely to buy high-value goods or order wine with meals.
