THERE is cheery news that more Scots weans are getting to go to the yoonie.
The number signed up for a university place is 3% higher than this time last year.
Hope they enjoy it as much as I did. I have fond memories of the Strathclyde students union where we were able to go to the beer bar at playtime. Yes, it took a wee while to get out of the school mindset. But pretty soon I had become awfy sophisticated and abandoned my corned beef roll play piece in favour of rye bread and salami from the Polish deli in George Street.
